The Best Blocks Are Legos
70Stage 1 - Denial
So it's been twenty months and I'm not even at ten hubs. At this rate I'll be 30 before I've hit a dozen. It's about time I shook off this "writer's block" and start talking some smack. Going to just relax and walk you through a couple paragraphs of prose. If you get scared, nauseous, or weak with love there are blue emergency exits located through out this page.
Ambience
Good Times
Always start with a plan of attack and that's why we're brainstorming. This will be my go to guide for when I need something daring to dash onto paper.
I'll widen my topics. Everything I've written, and that's passed review, is the same kind of cookie. For example, this will be my first creative writing piece. Let's aim to get 20 hubs on 20 different topics. I'll keep a running list below.
I need to review everything. Even though I'm happy to have 10k views with just 5 hubs. I wrote all of my articles when I was still in High School. I've already winced at how badly some of my grammar has been. This will be a great way to jog my memory and loosen my brain up.
On top of that there are some really excellent hubs out there that I just haven't had the chance to see yet. I've reviewed and chewed over what I've done then took the time to read some randoms. There is a lot of quality on this site now a days. It's nice to have all this reading material right at your finger tips. I've dropped a couple of my favorite reads below.
- How spiders helped win world wars
Hell of a read here. This is the kind of stuff that makes me want to write a hundred hubs on spiders. I don't want to give it away, read it. - Why HubPages is a Cult
It's all a damn trap. He opened my eyes but I'll shut them again for the Hubscore. - Overcoming Writer's Block with Particle, Wave, Field Theory
An entertaining read on writer's block that will definitely help you out. Just happened to see it on the side while I was writing and knew it deserved a spot. - 10 Ways to Earn Money on the Internet
A classic staple of hubpage articles. Didn't expect much opening it but he had links to back up every one and put more effort into it then most that I've seen. A good read if your writer's block is as bad as mine.
Step 6 - Dinner
I've already put out two posts on Squidoo I never finished. That's already a good start but doesn't help here. If I can use their messy site then it should be easy to push some out here.
I've worked off any qualms writing this out. Dinner's done and I'm sure that I'll be able to hit my goal of 20. I've read quite a few pieces of work and I already have some topics in mind. It seems like the hardest part is actually committing those words to paper. I've read some quality pieces and dipped my mind in some knowledge. Time to use that and have Hubpages buy me dessert.

Thanks for the link to particle-wave, Morgue. Out of curiosity, where are stages, or steps, 2-5? Or is this a WIP? :) Go for it, whether it's stream of consciousness or illuminating your writing process. Writers always get a lot out of how a fellow writer gets from here to there.
